Wind, hail and whatever it dropped on you.
Emergency tarping, tree impact, structural repair and interior rebuild after Midlands storms — with the roof handled by our sister roofing company.
Got it — thank you.
We will call you shortly. If this is urgent, call (803) 518-9873.
The roof is the easy part.
Most storm claims get settled on the roof and then go quiet on everything the water did on its way through the house.
When a tree comes through a roof, the roof gets replaced and the claim moves on — while the wet insulation, the ceiling, the framing that took the impact, the flooring below and the drywall down two walls are still sitting there. That interior scope is where storm claims underpay.
We document the whole path: the point of impact, the structural members affected, the moisture that followed, and every room downstream. Then we rebuild it. Our sister company, Beaver Roofing & Gutters, handles the roof and gutter side, so a single storm does not become three separate contractors blaming each other for the seam.
What a storm loss actually involves.
Emergency tarp and dry-in
Openings covered and the building dried in the same day, before the next round of rain adds to the claim.
Tree and debris removal
Tree taken off the structure and removed, with the impact area shored where the framing needs it before anyone works underneath.
Structural repair
Rafters, trusses, ceiling joists, band boards and sheathing repaired or replaced — engineered where the span or the load requires it.
Water intrusion
Extraction, documented drying and removal of saturated insulation and drywall on the path the water actually took.

Make it safe and dry
Tarp, shore, secure. Nothing else can be assessed properly while water is still coming in.
Document the whole path
Point of impact, structural members, every affected room, moisture readings. Not just the hole in the roof.
Scope it with your carrier
One written scope covering structure, interior and mitigation, so the interior does not get treated as a separate argument later.
Repair and rebuild
Structural repair, then interior finishes, then punch list — with the roof coordinated so trades are not tripping over each other.
Storm work, start to finish
Emergency stabilization first, then the permanent repair.

Storm loss in Shandon, Columbia — a tree through the roof, then a full structural rebuild and a new kitchen.

If it is happening right now, call.
An open roof or a tree still resting on the structure turns one bad night into weeks of interior damage. A phone call gets a faster answer than anything typed into a form.
Storm damage questions we get asked most.
A tree is on my house right now. What do I do?
Get everyone out of that part of the house and call. We secure the structure, tarp the opening and shore the impact area — the removal sequence matters, because pulling a tree off wrong can bring more of the roof with it.
Do you do the roof too?
Roofing and gutters go through Beaver Roofing & Gutters, our sister company, so it is still one team and one point of contact. We handle the structure, interior and everything else.
My adjuster approved the roof but nothing inside. Is that normal?
It is common, and it is usually a documentation gap rather than a denial. Interior damage has to be measured and tied to the same event. That is exactly the kind of supplement we write.
Is hail damage worth filing on?
It depends on what it actually hit. Roof, gutters, siding, screens and soft metals tell the story. An inspection costs you nothing and tells you whether there is a real claim before you file one.
How fast can you get out after a big storm?
Emergency tarping and securing is our first priority and we run around the clock after a regional event. Full scoping follows once the property is stable.
