Water is moving. Every hour counts.
Burst supply lines, failed water heaters, roof leaks, overflows and sewer backups across the Midlands. We extract, dry to a documented standard, and rebuild what had to come out.
Got it — thank you.
We will call you shortly. If this is urgent, call (803) 518-9873.
Wet materials do not wait for an adjuster.
The difference between drying a room and gutting it is usually measured in hours, not in dollars spent.
Water does not sit where you can see it. It runs under cabinet toe kicks, through the base plate, into insulation, and up the paper facing of drywall. By day three you are no longer drying a floor — you are removing materials that can no longer be saved.
Waiting for a claim decision before starting is the single most expensive choice a homeowner makes. Every policy we work with expects reasonable steps to prevent further damage, and the drying we document is part of that. We start mitigation, record it properly, and the paperwork follows.
What we document is what actually happened: affected rooms measured, moisture readings taken at the same points each day, equipment counted and dated. Not estimates of what probably dried out.
What a water loss actually involves.
Emergency extraction
Standing water removed with truck-mount or portable extraction, carpet and pad lifted where it cannot be saved, and the source shut off or stabilized first.
Structural drying
Air movers and dehumidifiers sized to the affected area, not to whatever was on the truck. Readings taken daily at fixed points until materials reach dry standard.
Controlled demolition
Wet drywall, insulation, baseboard and flooring removed only to the line where materials are actually wet — cut clean, so the repair is a repair and not a patchwork.
Cabinets and built-ins
Toe kicks drilled and dried where cabinets can be saved, detached and reset where they cannot. We tell you which before we start pulling boxes off the wall.
Sewage and Category 3
Contaminated water handled as contaminated water — containment, removal of porous materials, cleaning and antimicrobial application, with the affected area isolated from the rest of the house.
The rebuild after
Drywall, texture, paint, trim, flooring and cabinetry put back by the same company. No second contractor learning your house from scratch.

We get there and stop the loss
Source controlled, power and safety checked, standing water extracted. If it is an emergency it is same-day.
We document before we touch anything
Photos, moisture map, affected rooms measured, readings at fixed points. This is the evidence your claim gets paid on, and it cannot be recreated later.
We dry it and prove it is dry
Equipment placed to a plan and readings logged daily until materials reach dry standard. Equipment comes off when the numbers say so, not when the calendar does.
We rebuild what came out
Same company, same file. The scope of the rebuild matches the scope of what was removed, so nothing falls into a gap between two contractors.
What a water loss actually looks like
Extraction and drying, then the rebuild — documented the whole way.

Water loss in Lexington — affected cabinetry and flooring removed, the structure dried to a documented standard, then a new kitchen built back.

Not all water is the same water.
The category of water and the class of loss decide the method, the equipment and how much has to be removed. Here is the plain-English version.
| What happened | Category | What that usually means |
|---|---|---|
| Clean supply line, water heater, ice maker line | Category 1 (clean) | Most materials can be dried in place if we get there early. Carpet and pad are often savable. |
| Washing machine overflow, dishwasher, aquarium, standing water that has sat a while | Category 2 (grey) | Porous materials — pad, some drywall, insulation — usually come out. Hard surfaces are cleaned and dried. |
| Sewer backup, toilet overflow past the trap, ground water, flooding | Category 3 (black) | Contaminated. Porous materials are removed, the area is contained, and cleaning is part of the scope, not an add-on. |
| Clean water that sat for days in a closed-up house | Escalates | Category 1 does not stay Category 1. Time and temperature move it up, which is why the first day matters. |
Categories follow the industry standard for professional water damage restoration. Your specific loss is assessed on site.
If it is happening right now, call.
Standing water reaches the wall cavity and subfloor faster than most people expect, and wet drywall keeps wicking upward for days. A phone call gets a faster answer than anything typed into a form.
Water damage questions we get asked most.
Should I wait for my insurance company before you start?
No. Nearly every policy expects reasonable steps to prevent further damage, and drying is one of them. We start mitigation and document it so the claim has something real to sit on. Delay makes the loss bigger, not cheaper.
How long does drying take?
Commonly three to five days for a contained loss, longer where hardwood, plaster or a crawl space is involved. Equipment comes off when moisture readings hit dry standard, and you get to see those numbers.
Will my hardwood floors have to come out?
Not always. Depending on species, finish and how long the water sat, hardwood can sometimes be dried in place with specialty mats. We tell you honestly which side of that line your floor is on.
Do you work directly with my insurance company?
Yes. We handle carrier and program work daily and provide the documentation adjusters ask for — moisture logs, equipment records, photos and measured quantities. You stay in the loop, not in the middle.
Is mold going to be a problem?
It becomes a problem when wet materials stay wet. Fast extraction, correct drying and removing what cannot be dried is how you avoid it. If growth is already present, we tell you plainly and scope it correctly.
What about the crawl space?
Midlands houses lose a lot of water into crawl spaces, where it stays. We check it, dry it, and address insulation and vapor barrier when they are saturated — it is part of the loss, not a separate job.
