Anthony John Construction is a full-service restoration and remodeling contractor in West Columbia. We do emergency mitigation, insurance reconstruction and the kind of remodeling work that gets photographed afterward — with the same crew and the same file carrying it the whole way.
Most homeowners get handed off. We do not do that.
The standard path after a loss is a mitigation company, then a different rebuild contractor, then an adjuster nobody has met — and a homeowner in the middle relaying messages.
We built this company the other way round. The people who dry your house are the people who document it, and the people who document it are the people who rebuild it. One scope, one schedule, one number to call. When something is found behind a wall, nobody has to renegotiate who owns it.
That also means our remodeling work benefits from the restoration side. We spend our week opening up Midlands houses built in the fifties, sixties and seventies, so we know what tends to be behind the drywall before we quote a kitchen — old wiring, failed cast iron, rot at the band board, asbestos flooring under two later floors.
We are a niche company on purpose: full restoration from the first hour to the final finish, plus the remodeling work that uses exactly the same skills. Roofing and gutters run through our sister company, Beaver Roofing & Gutters, out of the same shop on Leaphart Road.

Written before built
Scope and price in writing before demolition, and change orders in writing before anyone builds them. Nothing lands on the final invoice as a surprise.
Documented, not estimated
Moisture readings, equipment logs, measured rooms and photographs. Quantities come from the field, not from a guess that has to be defended later.
The unglamorous half done right
Substrate, flashing, waterproofing, load path, ventilation. The parts nobody photographs are the parts that decide whether the finished work lasts.
Least amount of fluff possible
We would rather put the hours into production than into ceremony. You get straight answers, a real schedule and a crew that shows up.
